Hanneke (J.G.) Kalf is a speech-language therapist and assistant professor of rehabilitation at the department of Rehabilitation of the Radboud university medical center in Nijmegen, the Netherlands. Her key expertise is the assessment and treatment of acquired speech and swallowing disorders in particular in neurodegenerative diseases and Parkinson’s disease, but she also initiates projects on dysphagia related to mechanical ventilation, head-neck cancer or neuromuscular disorders. She combines clinical work with research projects, supervision of PhD candidates and postgraduate education. She has provided numerous post-graduate course in these domains, nationally and internationally, including for the Dutch ParkinsonNet.
